Course Description: This course builds on the Foundations of Animation course with a focus on establishing a working knowledge of animation tools and techniques. It provides students the opportunity to develop more advanced animation skills and to work towards creating a short animation project. Emphasis will be placed on asset & environment creation, character development, and the processes within the 2D animation workflow such as scripting, storyboarding, compositing, key framing, visual effects, sound design, etc.
